The Discipleship Pathway

"Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity..." Hebrews 6:1

The Pathway

The Pathway is our ongoing process to help people grow and mature in their faith. In the church world, we call this discipleship.

It may be a bit of a cliche, but we truly believe that discipleship is about the journey, not the destination. In other words, we’ll never be finished with discipleship; we’ll only continue to be transformed as we keep following Jesus.

Why offer a Pathway? Because we believe the Biblical call for all believers is to become a disciple - and to also help make disciples - and we want to help make that happen as simply as possible. The process may be messy at times, but it doesn’t mean it should be confusing!

Discipleship might be messy...

...but it shouldn't be confusing.

The Pathway: Fall 2020

There's plenty of ways for you to lean into your discipleship this fall, whether digitally or in person; attend some seminars, listen to podcasts, try out a prayer room, and more!

We know prayer is vital, but we often struggle to know how to pray, or if we're even doing it right. Join us for this practical one-hour online seminar that will equip you to move forward in your prayer life.

The Old Testament makes up 3/4 of the entire Bible, but many of us struggle to understand what we're reading; join us for this one-hour online seminar that will help you make sense of the Old Testament and how if fits into the story of the Gospel.

Join us every Tuesday at noon on Facebook Live as we unpack the sermon from the past weekend. This will also be available as an audio podcast later in the week.

Join us at YWC for a Night of Worship; this will be a live event (registration required; find it on our home page) and will also be streamed live on Facebook and YouTube.

Join us at the church for an extended and open time of prayer each week; we also have a new Wednesday option now! All are welcome.

Let's be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community! Sign up for events online, or come up with your own ideas - there's no limit to how you can bless the people around you. More info the Love Week page of our website.

CR is a Jesus-centered recovery program for adults who are battling hurts, habits, and hang-ups...which, if we're being honest, is most of us. Why not seek some help and support? Every Monday @ YWC; they'd love to see you.
